A sunset to the trip but in fact a sunrise the day we arrived off Florida. We're looking forward to returning to the Exumas, Eleutheras, and Abacos next winter. Meantime, we motor-sailed for four hours up the ICW to Halifax Harbor Marina in Daytona Beach where we topped off the fuel tanks, checked in, and secured Alizee
in her new temporary home. We're spending a few days on land at Pen's house in Deland, will spend some days on Alizee
at her slip (a half-hour drive away), do some boat maintenance work, and the end of this month we're taking a trip to California to visit friends and figure out what to do with my townhouse. After that some more travel and perhaps a sail up to the Chesapeake the end of September and into October. Life is rich, indeed!
