"For want of a cotter pin"

Last year we brought Alizee around the Keys from Daytona Beach to St. Petersburg.  Along the way we experienced a could-have-been-catastrophic rigging failure.  With such things there is often a bright side, and in this case it is that Sail Magazine accepted and just published our account of the experience.
